Michael Menegay - CEO
Mike has a strong skillset and experience in leadership and general management and a proven track record of significantly growing revenues of SaaS software companies. His past experience includes being the founder and/or CEO of six (6) privately-held technology companies, four (4) of which were successfully sold to larger publicly-held entities. Prior to Firescope, Mike was CEO & President of Encryptics, a leading cloud-based provider of cyber security solutions; where Mike has extensive expertise. Previously, he also held the CEO role at Oxygen Finance Americas, a fintech payments processing company (acquired by Arrowgrass Capital Partners); and Mobile Armor, a cyber security company (acquired by Trend Micro in 2011). Mike has previously held leadership roles at Dell, Everdream, McAfee and Adobe.
Steve Randall - Executive Vice President of Sales
Steven heads up the global sales organization for FireScope, Inc. and brings more than a decade of sales leadership experience as well as an instinctive aptitude for strategy implementation. Immediately prior to FireScope, Steven was Executive Vice President of Sales for Pangea Systems where he grew Pangea Systems UK business by 450% and drove the US division of Pangea Systems to annual revenues to $7.5m. He has been awarded accolades of LANDESK ESP of the Year for UK & North America, numerous times including 2014. Steven’s areas of expertise include Solution Selling, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Sales Strategy & Management, Business Services, End User Analytics, IT Service Management, Managed Services.
Mark Lynd, Co-Founder
Mark is the Co-Founder of FireScope, where he brings more than 25+ years of experience across technology, media and security sectors. Prior to FireScope he served as Global CTO at Lone Star Funds, a global private equity firm. Before Lone Star, Mark served five years as CEO of Vectrix, a venture-backed technology company and held executive and technology roles with Metromedia, GTE and Perot Systems. He served on several boards previously and has several industry certifications including CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP and CEH. Mark was named an Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of Year - SW Region" Finalist previously. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa and served honorably in the United States Army's 3rd Ranger Battalion and the 82d Airborne.
Christopher J. Mahoney - CFO
Mr. Mahoney is a Senior Finance Executive with 19 years of CFO-level experience. He has worked in public and privately-held companies in the manufacturing, service and software industries. He has been involved in three startups and has also worked for the 10th largest privately held company in Los Angeles County. Chris has extensive M&A experience and has been responsible for the finances of three international operations. He has a strong risk management background, is adept at financial analysis and diagnostic control system implementation, and designing optimal capital structures to maximize shareholder value. Chris has held an elective office in San Diego, is the past Treasurer of a philanthropic foundation, and is the past President of one of the largest youth baseball organizations in Orange County, California. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northeastern University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Bryan Cantwell - Senior Vice President, Technology
Bryan is the Senior Vice President of Technology and Co-Founder of FireScope, Inc. With over 20 years experience in software development, technical sales, product testing and customer support, Bryan brings to FireScope a drive to build the most successful line of products possible. He comes to FireScope most recently from AdvoCare where he served as a manager of Web User Interface and Oracle database / Oracle Applications development. Additionally, Bryan was also development manager for the web commerce division of Vectrix leading a team of web commerce developers to create many successful projects. He also served team leadership, software development, software / hardware sales engineer and sales training roles for many years at IBM. Bryan also spent 8 years in the financial services industry as a licensed securities and commodities broker and also was a licensed principal for securities, options, commodities and futures trading.
Eric Cook - Senior Vice President, Solution Consulting
Eric is the Senior Vice President for Solution Consulting at FireScope, Inc. He is an 18-year veteran of IT Service Management and IT Operations, who most recently served as Director of Pre-sales and Services for Pangea Systems, a global IT consulting firm. In his role there, he managed pre-sales technologists, and developed a mature IT Service Management consulting practice that led to successful engagements for many Fortune 2000 customers. Prior to that, he was Manager of the IT Service Management practice at En Pointe Technologies, where he established and managed its ITSM/ITIL consulting practice. He worked at LANDESK Software for several years as both a Pre-sales Engineer and as an ITSM consultant. Eric has held several other managerial, consultative and sales positions in boutique consulting firms. He holds multiple awards from the ITSM and Software community. An accomplished presenter, Eric is frequently invited to present at IT industry events. He is a member of ITSMF, the Help Desk Institute, the Software Channel Executives group, and the ITIL Leaders group.
Ryan Counts - Vice President, Marketing
Ryan is responsible for FireScope's global corporate marketing, lead generation, analyst relations and social media efforts. He has a dual background in Marketing and IT Operations/Development that makes him uniquely suited to communicate the value of FireScope solutions. His career started in the early days of online advertising and includes over a decade and a half of experience in management positions at numerous start-ups and established enterprises such as NetGrowth, Inc., MetroplexWeb and Stream International. In addition to being MCSE and MCDBA certified by Microsoft, his work won the Nielsen/Norman Group 2005 Intranet Design Annual Top 10 Intranets. He is passionate about finding new and effective ways to use technology to reach new audiences, immerse them in innovative visual experiences and to use automation to enhance customer experiences throughout the sales cycle.
Mark Ponthier - Vice President, Development
Mark is VP Core Development of FireScope, Inc. and brings 22 years of experience in designing and developing large scale, highly transactional systems. Prior to joining FireScope over 5 years ago, Mark was Engineering Director for Nexa Technologies and was the technical lead for their suite of low-latency and high-capacity global electronic trading products for active traders and automated trading systems. It is that same mindset used to develop these trading systems that are used in the development of the FireScope suite of products. Prior to Nexa Technologies, Mark was co-owner of The Dalmatian Group for 11 years and during that time was involved in some of the largest software projects in the world and included work for such customers as Motorola, JP Morgan and Bank of America. Mark attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He also attended the Center for Advanced Computer Studies at ULL where he earned a Master of Science in Computer Science.
Tina Tang - Vice President, User Experience Development
Tina Tang has been developing web-based solutions for over 17 years, since HTML 1.0. Her experiences range from enterprise websites to custom web applications for companies such as Pepsico and FirstData. Tina helped to create the information architecture and user interface that delivers key financial, sales and IT related data to the users in an application. At FireScope, she designs solutions for our customers focusing on usability, business intelligence and data visualization. With a background in programming and visual media communications, she enjoys working to combine the collaborative efforts of engineers and designers to solve problems for our customers. Her expertise in a wide range of programming languages and emerging technologies adds to the innovative methods of information delivery in our products. Tina holds degrees in both computer sciences and communications from the University of Texas.
